Instructions

Coahoma Community College is committed to the protection and confidentiality of student education records, adhering closely to the guidelines established by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law designed to protect the privacy of education records, to establish the right of students to inspect and review their education records, and to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate and misleading data through informal and formal hearings.

CCC FERPA Tutorial and Quiz is designed to provide faculty and staff with a base-level knowledge of the rules governing the release of student information.

Maintaining confidentiality of student records is everyone’s responsibility whether you are faculty, administrator, staff or student. Gaining access to Jenzabar and student records will be denied until there is record that you have successfully completed the tutorial and quiz. To be successful, you are required to obtain the maximum points on the quiz.
